Alice to Zouroku (TV) – Episode 01

Double-length episodes are still scary to me. Especially when I’m editing them.

Also, yes, this is a 1080p-only show, the first of its kind for an airing project here at GJM. You can see a comparison HERE, made by Majin3, the show’s encoder. He deemed this worthwhile, so we’re following his counsel on the matter.

We had some scheduling mishaps with typesetting this week, but they should be hopefully resolved for the further (and also shorter) episodes going forward.

Hope you enjoy the show!

Joint with DameDesuYo.

Good Job! Media – Spring 2017

And so wraps up a slightly eventful Winter 2017 here at Good Job! Media. This three-show season was an interesting trip, in no small part due to the surprise pick-up of Urara Meirochou, which turned out to be a very good decision. It was a fun show, and while it may not have been quite as good as the source, it was still fun nonetheless.

Urara post-mortem aside, we’ll move onto our Spring 2017 show picks.

First up is Sagrada Reset, almost every active staff member put their name down for this one. I’ve seen and heard good things about it, so I’m looking very forward to it.

The second and (this time, probably) final show we’re picking up is Alice to Zouroku. This will be a joint project with our good friends at DameDesuYo, as we enjoyed working together on Flip Flappers. We welcome the chance to do so again. As for whether the show will turn out to be any good? Well, that’s anyone’s guess.

In a break from tradition, I’m also adding a mention here that we are currently recruiting for the following positions: Translator/TLC, Timer, Typesetter, Editor. Fansub experience is not required but you will be tested for aptitude.

You can apply using the Application Form link here or in the navigation bar above. Please use a valid email address when sending an application in, as all further communication during your testing will usually be through email. You can also join #gjm-recruits on Rizon IRC and speak to Fyurie or another staff member there.

That’s everything for now, but we’ll be tweeting out future releases and other useful news, so be sure to follow us at @goodjobmedia on Twitter!

Hope you’re looking forward to our Spring 2017 picks!
