Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (TV) – Episode 02

shirayuki02_premux_001_852

Still a slow project, it kind of gets trapped behind the other GJM shows. We’ll try and speed it up a little if we can though, but just assume it’ll be a slow release otherwise. Sorry guys.

As previously mentioned, no DDLs for this show as I don’t feel like needing to host jump to dodge DMCAs.

If you encounter any playback issues with a GJM release, please make sure you are using a recently-updated version of CCCP or KCP.

    • Sorry about the delays, I’ve had a nightmare filtering the encode, and I’ve been busy with our other shows. :(

  1. Good job!! nvm about delay..i still waiting for your release..thanks!!

  2. Thanks guys and please give the priority to Charlotte, it’s okay to delay the other shows.

  3. Good Job! The font on the ED was particularly beautiful, thanks for picking this up!

  4. Just wanted to add my thanks, I’m liking all your picks this season and appreciate your efforts. Also major kudos for that typesetting on the notice around 4:45 – I did a double take when I realized the whole page had not only been done but done exceptionally well.

  5. I think there’s a little mistake in the OP lyrics. Though I might be totally wrong. It sounded to me “mieru kana kono basho ni iru koto wo” but the line in the subtitle is “mieta kana kono basho ni iru koto wo”.

  6. Oh man, this is fantastic. Great work!

A small terminology nitpick: since she owned her own shop and is shown using apothecaries’ weights and measures, I’d say it’d be more accurate to call Shirayuki an “apothecary” than a mere “herbalist.” Although most of her medicines are sourced from plant life, she does much more than merely research and develop herbal medicines (which is what “herbalist” suggests).

    • You make a very good point. I’ll talk to zenrii about this to see where the Japanese for it lies, and it might be something to revisit for the batch, but right now it would require some major changes and a re-do of that difficult-as-hell letter from 02.

Thanks for the detailed argument for it though, much appreciated. <3

      • Cheers! I wasn’t expecting you to change it at this point, but I do appreciate the thoughtful reply.

        • Yeah, no problem, any time. I’m always up to discuss our thoughts on something we’ve done in our releases.

Thanks again for your well-structured input, we appreciate feedback like that. :)

  7. How are you translating gibberish to english?
Because those letters don’t look like kana or kenji to me
