Charlotte (BD) – Volume 7

All done, finally. Batch eventually.

The OVA is unchanged if you already have it, but it is bundled for convenience when downloading the volumes as a fresh viewer.

Volume 7 contains Ep13 and the OVA.

If you encounter any playback issues with a GJM release, please make sure you are using a recently-updated version of CCCP or KCP.

  1. if and when the batch is done will seed to help out guys thank you

  2. Hi Fyurie, was just wondering if we could get a 2 year update on this? I think it’s one of your oldest projects and was curious when we might hope to see a BD batch for the show.

    • BD batches are more likely to happen when I have few-to-no actual volumes to work on as they take a decent amount of time to prep for, and that time is better spent digging into the 50-ish volume backlog of unreleased BDs.

I keep every single BD volume GJM has released seeded so you should still be able to grab things per-volume from Nyaa or Anidex without issue. If not, contact me via Discord/IRC, or just respond here and I’ll double-check they’re seeding properly.

      • Hey, thanks for the reply! If you could share, what extra work generally goes into the batch release, is it just fixing typos and the like? If I went ahead and got every volume individually, and you eventually put out a batch for it, would any updates be patchable, and if so, do you actually create patch files for the changes?

I usually just don’t want to have to download shows twice, especially BD releases which can be pretty big. But if it’s just minor text errors that won’t take away from watching the show and I know I can update them with the fixes later anyways then I’ll go ahead and try to get the individual volumes.

        • Largely those are the changes for volumes vs batch release, yeah. We very rarely make a meaningful mistake in a BD release, most batches we’ve already done are just the tiniest tweaks and bundling it all together.

What makes it take time to prep is that we patch every episode regardless of changes and that requires remuxing and diffing a hell of a lot of files, then doing a multitude of sanity checks to confirm the batch is working as intended when running patch files and so on.

Generally, downloading per-volume is practically the same experience as downloading one of our batches, which is why I give batches such a low priority.
