    • I didn’t do any comparisons, personally. If you or anyone else does though, I’d be interested in the results.

In general it’ll look better though because of the BDMVs looking better than TV.

      • @FYURIE . i dont know if you are working on this saw your name on nyaa.do you now somthing about thhe next volume of [&] Shomin Sample.?

        • No idea, sorry. I can’t comment on the status of projects elsewhere as I don’t oversee them.

Go to #& on Rizon IRC and poke them I guess.

  1. I think I speak for everyone when I say there’s really only one episode we care about and want a BD release for. Just sayin, in case it saves you any work

  2. Can the lyrics of the songs be fixed? They are available officially and have been translated accurately for a while now.
There are so many points in [miele paradisio] that use English words that do not show up in your subtitles, it’s very jarring.
There are also places in which I, as someone who has not studied Japanese at all, can tell that the meaning of a sentence is completely deformed. “mugen pathos” for example is translated completely inaccurately by your lyrics. I hear the word for “warrior” where you write “I’m not a wizard anymore” but of course it doesn’t show up in your translation.
The same is absolutely valid for [CHI]. “Ichigo” is translated to “apple.” Somewhere along the line it talks about the “heart module” (the piece of tech the show’s based on) but you make no mention of it whatsoever – Google Translate here does a better job than you at retaining that terminology usage.
Please have a strong review of your OP and ED translations and subtitling before your next BD release, and hopefully patch this one.
    Thank you.

    • I’ll leave this here just because you’re that much of a idiot, but the answer is no. I quite frankly don’t give a fuck what someone with no knowledge of Japanese has to say about a translation. Ours, or anyone else’s for that matter.

Online translations are no more likely to be accurate, and YOU can’t tell if they are. Using a dictionary to check the odd words you understand doesn’t count.

If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Come back and give us a full translation review of our opening and ending when you learn the fucking language.

      • It was not my intention to offend, I am sorry you have taken it this way. However by your attitude it is clear that I should steer clear of your group’s offerings.

Thank you for the response. I hope the bile you spilled here somewhat relieved your apparently extremely stressful life.

        • If you can’t take criticism in return, then good riddance.

Please don’t bother trying to backseat translate any other sub group without any understanding of the language. That’s extremely offensive to the translator and editor of any project you do that to.

Don’t give what you can’t take. You were extremely rude to those two staffers in your initial comment, so I will return in kind.

    • My apologies to the persons in charge of the translation. This comment is extremely poorly worded feedback intended on being constructive. I hope it can still be viewed in that light, however difficult I made that possible.
I have posted this with the intentions of encouraging a review and update, not condemning your translation.

I understand that a neophyte suggesting translation feedback is viewed badly, but please also understand that the reverse position of a neophyte finding something odd with a translation is not a comfortable one.
Speaking strictly personally, it makes me think that something might be horribly wrong with the subtitles I’m reading (even when that is not the case) during the viewing experience. This is quite the immersion breaker.
Now I understand that I posted about this show and only the OP and ED, so this case doesn’t really apply here.
However it was because of this uncomfortable reaction that I initially posted. An extrapolation of circumstances or feelings, if that makes sense. Involuntary as it may, the confidence rating for the rest of the material drops.

Again, I apologize for the improper approach. I hope this can be settled on good terms with the translation team.

To reword, if the initial comment is to be deleted due to sensitivities (it may):

As said neophyte, I have noticed several instances of English word usage in both OP and ED of this release that are not transcribed into the subtitles. Reasons be as they are, I am unfamiliar with them and thus come with this inquiry.
I can also pick out what seem to be several key words in Japanese (by nature of having listened to a fair amount of anime) that seem to be translated inaccurately.
In [miele paradisio] there is a line mentioning a warrior “senshi” but the corresponding subtitle makes no mention of it. In another instance, the word “mugen” jumps out to me, but the corresponding subtitle does not refer to “infinity” or a related idea. Finally, the word “pathos” while Greek in origin is common in English language and an example of omitted words in the translation. This one seems important due to the insistence of the singing itself.
In [Chi], there are also a few instances of omitted English words, but the one I want to report primarily is what appears to be a “kokoro module” or “heart module.” This is an important item in the show’s universe (or at least an important reference to it), however it is translated as “heart” which seems inaccurate and missing half of its meaning.

The above are things I have heard myself.
Only later have I gone to compare with other sources including other fansubs. I will not bring these out here since I have learned this is also viewed negatively, but the above is definitely what I picked out myself (again, as neophyte in Japanese, although familiar with the English language).

I report in good faith and in hope that it will encourage a review of at least the most important bits.

      Thank you for reading.

  3. So I guess we can officially say this was dropped? I mostly care about the specials as nobody subbed any of them (other than the 1st one included here).

      • I mean it’s been 6 months without any updates so it’s a fair assumption. I’m not sure what you meant with the 2nd half of your comment. Anyway didn’t want to come as annoying just wanted to hear if there’s any chance the rest will be subbed rather than checking every week forever :P

  4. Hi I really hope you guys continue this project. I think its FYURIE doing it? Based on the previous comment. I’m begging you plz plz plz. Thanks in advance.
